Our Story
The Sniper’s Wife was born from lived experience — chronic pain, deep fatigue, and the weight combat veterans carry home from war.
We know what it feels like to be worn out by everyday life and to search for small ways to feel more like yourself again. Our products are chosen with comfort in mind — for bodies that ache, minds that carry too much, and hearts that need gentleness.
In 2020, I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome — a connective tissue disorder that affects my joints, sleep, energy, and daily rhythms in countless invisible ways. The hardest part wasn’t just the diagnosis, but realizing I had been living with it my whole life, believing chronic pain was just “normal.” For years, I thought I was simply falling short — not strong enough, not disciplined enough. That diagnosis didn’t just explain the pain; it reframed it. It jolted reality into focus and gave me permission to stop blaming myself.
As I searched for ways to feel better — physically, emotionally, and practically — I realized how hard it is to find products that actually help. I started gathering small things that soothe, calm, warm, or restore. Over time, those quiet discoveries became the beginning of this shop.
In 2024, I began writing piano pieces to help my husband find some peace after his military career. Somewhere along the way, it became a way of sharing that peace with the world. You can listen to the music here: youtube.com/@TheSnipersWifeHaven. I hope The Sniper’s Wife can witness life as it passes — reflecting, absorbing, and sometimes just holding space for all the hard things.
Today, this project is more than just music or goods — it’s a quiet offering. A curated space of simple, intentional tools to support you through chronic conditions, invisible pain, or the kind of stress that doesn’t always have a name. Whether you’re living with Ehlers-Danlos, combat PTSD, fibromyalgia, arthritis, autoimmune challenges, or simply trying to make it through something hard — you’re welcome here.
We believe soft things, warm things, grounding things… can help. They remind us that we’re still human. Still worthy of rest. Still allowed to feel good.
Chronic ≠ broken.
This is a place where care is quiet, softness is strength, and comfort is a form of dignity.
Welcome to The Sniper’s Wife.
